Introducing... FOCUS PORTFOLIOS!
Focus Portfolios takes the section
where photographers were exhibited in Focus Magazine and has created
an entire magazine out of it! Portfolios exists as a magazine for
photographers who wish to exhibit their portfolios of fine art photography
to collectors and connoisseurs. Focus Portfolios was inspired by the
tradition of the original fine art photography magazine, Camera Work by
Alfred Stieglitz. Stieglitz's magazine exhibited some of the greatest up and
coming photographers of his time inside of one of the finest printed
magazines of the time. Focus Portfolios will be working with Dual
Graphics out of Brea, CA to produce the finest quality printed fine art
photography magazine in the world. This magazine will be sent to every
single photography gallery in the country and will be sold off of Focus
Magazine's website as well. In addition, Focus Portfolios will
also be exhibited on the Apple iPad and other tablets through its own APP.
Anyone exhibited in the print edition of the magazine will also be exhibited
in the APP, which will be made available to over 100 million people
throughout the world by being sold in Droid and Apple iTunes App Stores.
Focus Portfolios takes the best of all mediums, print and online and
offers the reader the highest quality selection of emerging photographers in
one magazine today!
FOCUS PORTFOLIOS COVER
CONTEST
If you think you have a strong photograph that
can attract readers, submit as many of your images as you'd like and if one
of your photographs meet our standards, it will be on the cover to the
PREMIERE EDITION of Focus Portfolios. The winner will not only receive their
image on the cover but also receive an extended portfolio exhibition of
8-pages along with a feature article inside of this issue. In addition, a
digital book of their work will be published in Focus Publishing's new APP
for tablets.
Contest guidelines:
Once you have submitted the work, click the
Buy Now button below. The cost is $25 per image submission. There is no
minimum or maximum number of images you can submit to Focus, however; the
more images you submit the greater the chances are that one of your
photographs will be chosen!
When your order is received from Google
Checkout, use the order # in your e-mail and send us as many low resolution
(72-96 dpi) jpgs of the image(s) you wish to submit for the cover of our
premiere edition. E-Mail the images as attachments to:
focusportfolios@focusmag.info.
